Lately I've heard several people describe the same thing with different wording and language.
- Bill Allison of Cadre Ministries uses "D1, D2, and D3" as a way to describe what disciple-making should look like today.
- Steve Addison of Movements uses "Church Planting Movements" terminology to describe how we should be reaching the world with the Gospel.
- I'm also reading The Steward Leader by R.Scott Rodin. And he uses the "Four Trajectories" of a Steward Leader to explain effective Biblical leadership.
The deepening of our relationship with Christ and sharing him with others is the most important thing. (And even that statement has my language and terminology in it.)
Let's all continue to pursue the language Jesus used:
- And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” (Matthew 28:18-20 ESV)
